Endpoint addressing for multi-endpoint devices

For devices that support multiple endpoints (e.g. multi-channel devices), include the endpoint identifier in the MQTT topic using the ep{endpoint_id} segment:

zpc/{home_id}/{node_id}/ep{endpoint_id}/{command_class}/Command/{command_name}
  • ep0 — root device (endpoint 0)
  • ep1, ep2, ep3, … — endpoint 1, 2, 3, etc.

Example: zpc/CAFECAFE/0004/ep3/ZWaveCC/Command/SwitchBinarySet targets endpoint 3 of node 0x0004.

When MQTT Support is false, the linked documentation lists only TX (report/notification) commands. ZPC publishes those reports to MQTT but does not handle Command/* topics for that command class.
